Bard Theatre’s inaugural production of Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy was courageous triumph for a new company that transported the tale of Beatrice and Benedick to 1950s Hollywood. Messina was reimagined as the grand estate of Leonato, who we modeled after Frank Sinatra. Featuring choreography by local artist, Sherman Christensen, this production was injected with glamour, dancing and a whole lotta fun.
