Who We Are
Founded in 2023 by a rag-tag bunch of creative nerds with expertise in topics such as literature, classic theatre and immersive storytelling. We aim to create theatrical experiences through innovative adaptation of classic stories with an emphasis on deconstructing societal norms around topics such as gender, sexuality, race, and class.
Thia Thompson
Creative Director
Thia is jack of all trades creative, originally hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana. They have worked in a variety of roles including, but not limited to—performer, playwright, producer, writer of fiction, non-fiction, and some truly questionable ad-copy. They are looking forward to adding “Director” to that list this coming season!
Morrigan Robbins
Executive Director
Morrigan grew up in the Bay Area theatre community. They co-founded The Gaggle, where they helped produce three theatrical productions before parting ways to follow other creative pursuits. Morrigan is also an accomplished game designer and has worked on several official Dungeons & Dragons adventures.
Ian Thompson
Operations Director
Ian is a Bay Area local who has moonlit extensively as an editor, poet, techie, and medic. His industry background includes volunteer roles as tech crew, stage manager, and Assistant Technical Director. Ian is thrilled and grateful to lend his experience and ability to help realize the Bard Theatre vision.
